Porter Media is a paid social agency that focuses on helping direct-to-consumer brands scale from 6 figures to 7 & 8 figures a year.

The Ideal Candidate:

Has some, if not all of the following skills…

  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for numbers & ability to do mental math
  • Ability to research & write articles, blogs and/or website content on unfamiliar topics
  • An ability to react appropriately and solve problems in a professional manner
  • An above-average understanding of the benefits & management of social media
  • Able to work effectively independently and in an open concept team environment
  • Familiarity with WordPress & Shopify (Preferred)
  • Creative editing skills through Canva or Photoshop
  • Creative video editing skills through Adobe, and or Camtasia
  • Basic understanding of sales
  • Empathy – being able to feel for people, regardless of if you’ve had first-hand experience.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Setting up and running Google Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Snapchat & TikTok ad campaigns
  • Setting up all systems, software, and automation.
  • Client facing tasks, such as weekly or bi-weekly calls.
  • Optimizing current campaign structures
  • Persuasive copywriting
  • Problem-solving.
